There are many logical reasonings and practical methods to actualize them in Buddhism, expounding the workings of life ––– the functioning of the mind, that have been unknown to many.
Walking into the tranquil monastery in the snowy mountain in Eastern Tibet, we shadowed a group of young Buddhist monks doing their daily monastic routine, such as studying, contemplation, debating, meditation, having fun between their breaks, and going on a picnic. We also asked them questions revolving around their faith and life. For example, why do they choose to study Buddhism? What is Buddhism? What does it take for happiness to ensue?
