During this Seven-Day Meditation Retreat, we continued our exploration of the treatise Yongjia's Song of Enlightenment (Cheng-Dao Ke), which created a seamless connection to the previous retreat and heightened the participants' expectations. Senior Sangha Fan Yu emphasized that while the retreat is an opportunity to intensively practice Buddhism, it is only one aspect of cultivating a daily practice. He reminded us that discipline and persistence in our daily practice are essential to progress on the path of Buddhist practice.
