Due to the ongoing pandemic, many fellow practitioners worldwide have been unable to gather in person for events. Nevertheless, we continued our tradition of holding online meditation events. During the Seven-Day Meditation Retreat that coincided with Chinese New Year 2023, our Dharma teacher taught "Essential Dharma of Mind Transmission by Chan Master Duanji Huangbo," a highly esteemed text from Chan Buddhism. Although the event was primarily held online, some participants gathered in person in Auckland, New Zealand, to carry out the retreat. They dedicated the merit they accumulated during this retreat towards the hope that the Seven-Day Meditation Retreat in Chiang Mai, Thailand, in May 2023 could be held in person and on-site.
