In May 2012, we learned the basics of the Middle Way and discussed questions and issues encountered in our practice. Senior Sangha Fan Yu taught Straight Talk to True Mind, introducing ten methods for revealing the true mind by eliminating discursive thoughts. He emphasized the importance of meditative concentration and encouraged us to participate in the Seven-Day Meditation Retreat as often as possible to train our bodies and minds. Building a solid foundation through dedicated training would allow us to see the true mind more easily in the future.
